Healing Process
Healing Products
Choose products wisely for tattoo aftercare. While Bepanthen, Cocoa Butter, and Hustle Butter are recommended, not all creams work well.
Avoid Nivea or Vaseline, these impede tattoo healing by forming a barrier that traps moisture, slowing skin recovery and risking complications.

Keep it Clean
Wash your new tattoo gently with mild soap and water, then pat dry with a clean towel.
Stay Moisturised
Apply a very thin layer of the healing product to the tattooed area to keep the skin hydrated, without overdoing it.
Protect it
Avoid direct sunlight, swimming, or soaking in water for the first few weeks to prevent damage and infections.
Ongoing care
Keep it Hydrated
Moisturise your healed tattoo regularly with fragrance-free lotion to prevent dryness.
Shield from the Sun
Apply sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your tattoo from sun damage whenever it's exposed to sunlight.
Hands Off
Avoid picking or scratching your tattoo to maintain its appearance and prevent irritation.
